up at 5.30 to watch the monk alms...very fascinating - the monks gp around the village collectinh food offerings from some of the locals ...mainly consisting or sticky roce - and i think this os all the food they eat all day! after a skightly slow start...rhe driver trying to sqeeze 12 of us into a 10 seater car we were on our way to Vang Veing. absoluteky stunninh scenery for the qhole joruney, felt like we were in the Alps...very surreal! we sropped for lunch very high in the mountains so had an amazing panaramic view over the vallwy...even the toilet had a view! haha we arrived into Vang Veing abiut 4pm, just in time for the heavens to open! we checked into a rather luxouroous room iat Central Backpackers - myself, Jess and Tim shared a very spacious, clean room! A quick walk around the town, dinner and bed early so we were ready for tubinh the next day!
