Australia's Deadliest...

I know everyone thinks I'm ridiculous for being paranoid of the sharks in these waters but yesterday a wakeboarder was attacked twice...they aren't sure which monster did it!

It happened in Nelson's Bay about 3 hours north of Sydney, and someone in 2007 was also attacked here. The area is known for...

...Bull Sharks...

...Great Whites...

...and Tiger Sharks...

As well as sharks I have also seen some mean looking spiders out here...urgh! It gives me the heebie jeebies - I hope the girl attacked is ok :-(

Just to update - the attack was from a Great White, and they have managed to save the girls arm...amazing.

World's Greatest Shave

Good Vibrations 2011

On Saturday 12th Feburary Bianca and I drove to her friend LJ's house in Zetland and we all made our way to Good Vibrations! As we were in Australia I was expecting a hot sunny day, but unfortunately luck was not on our side and it was cold and rainy!

Sarah's Birthday

 March 1st = Banners 22nd Birthday!

To start the celebrations we (Sarah, Jackie and I) made her a White Chocolate Cheesecake...

On the Tuesday we went to 'Launch My Label' - A fashion show showcasing new talent, who are...Launching their labels!!

I loved this collection - just simple kaftans with beautiful, colourful prints. The designer started her label whilst living in India to raise money for the village she lived in.

We then met the rest of the girlies...and greg! for a Salsa night at the Establishment!

The Sydney Wine Festival bought all of the surrounding winerys together for some fun in Hyde Park...

...We managed to loose and find our bottle of wine!!

We then headed to Bondi for James' hawaiian party!

It was such a fun night and in true Hawaiian tradition...?!! we played beer pong!

I've visited Bondi during the day, but have never experienced a night out so myself and Kathleen ventured over to check out the nightlife!

There was a Vans skating competiton on which was pretty cool...

We then met up with James and his friends and joined in on their poker night - First time i've played and we didn't come last!!

A night at The Argyle, The USA arrives in Sydney and Bianca's Birthday...

Caitlin and Kathleen arrived from the US of A and joined us at Doctor Pongs for Bianca's birthday. Kathleen and myself went to school together in Cairo and hadn't seen each other for about 10 years so it was lovely to be reunited on the other side of the world!

Australia Day

26th January hit Australia in full force! It is a bank holiday and luckily the sun was shining so all the Australians gathered with friends and family to celebrate their national day! There was lots dressing up, drinking and of course the day was spent by the beach!
