My New Abode

On 17th April I moved into my new flat in Darling Point Road, Edgecliff!

So exciting - gorge appartment with stunning views, I can even see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge! <3

Fifi Lapin

I was having a wee wander around Surry Hills at lunch and came across this gorgeous illustration book - 'What Shall I Wear Today? By Fifi Lapin'

I have fallen in love! The illustrations are just beautiful! I think it's such a lovely idea to use a rabbit character to illustrate designer clothes and styling tips, and I love the hand drawn style of the illustrations...

'The book is split by days of the week, as Fifi discusses her fashion choices and gives advice on dressing for different occasions. There are make-up tips, recipes and interviews with designers, but as expected the illustrations take centre stage. Adorable!'

Aggie Returns to British Vogue

Well I must say I haven't been Agyness Deyn's biggest fan, I've always appreciated her work but....I love this shoot!

She has returned to British Vogue in style - gorgeous girly haircut, looking stunning in the Namib Desert, photographed by Tim Walker

I love all the floaty, chiffon dresses...old school safari! She seems really innocent and vulnerable while the leopards roam around her.

The lighting and background colours are just lovely :-) Good work Aggie, I am a fan!!

A Beer Fueled Trip to Jervis Bay

When the weekend of the 19th March hit we jumped aboard the 'party bus' and Tom did the 2 hour drive (in the torrential rain) to Jervis Bay while we did 'Beer Bongs' and stopped twice at the Bottleooooo!!

Better Late than Never...Vogue Australia Mexican Shoot

I have been meaning to blog about this for ages, just have been preoccupied house hunting!

It has been such an inspirational shoot for me - I loved all the bright colours and prints that were showcased in the S/S 11 collections and Nicole Bentley has captured them perfectly in a rustic town in Mexico.

Prada is the main exhibit in this shoot along with a gorgeous silk dress by Tommy Hilfiger,  an amazing printed hat by Naomi Goodsir; an Australian based designer  and my favourite - Stella McCartney Oranges and Lemons dress!

Australia's Deadliest...

I know everyone thinks I'm ridiculous for being paranoid of the sharks in these waters but yesterday a wakeboarder was attacked twice...they aren't sure which monster did it!

It happened in Nelson's Bay about 3 hours north of Sydney, and someone in 2007 was also attacked here. The area is known for...

...Bull Sharks...

...Great Whites...

...and Tiger Sharks...

As well as sharks I have also seen some mean looking spiders out here...urgh! It gives me the heebie jeebies - I hope the girl attacked is ok :-(

Just to update - the attack was from a Great White, and they have managed to save the girls arm...amazing.

World's Greatest Shave
